We are proud to introduce the new SkyTrackPro Waypoint Manager, a powerful tool designed for competition organisers, clubs, and pilots who need full control over waypoint files. Whether you start from an existing file or build everything from scratch, the Waypoint Manager makes working with waypoints fast, visual, and precise.
The Waypoint Manager supports uploading CUP, WPT, and GPX files. Once uploaded, all waypoints are parsed and displayed directly on the map, allowing immediate verification and editing.
This makes it easy to reuse official competition files, adapt tasks from previous events, or fine tune waypoints provided by third parties.
You can also start with an empty waypoint set and create everything manually. Add takeoffs, turnpoints, landing fields, goals, and custom markers directly on the map. Each waypoint can be renamed, repositioned, categorised, and adjusted precisely.
Changes are reflected instantly, making it easy to build clean and consistent waypoint sets for even the most complex competitions.
Thanks to SkyTrackPro’s in house hosted maps, waypoints can be visualised clearly in both 2D and 3D. Terrain, elevation, and surroundings provide important context, helping organisers verify safety, accessibility, and geometry.
The 3D view is especially useful for understanding launch areas, valley crossings, and goal locations in mountainous terrain.
Once your waypoint set is ready, it can be exported again as CUP, WPT, or GPX files. This ensures compatibility with flight instruments, navigation apps, and third party tools.
No matter which format your pilots prefer, SkyTrackPro keeps your data flexible and portable.
All waypoint sets created or imported in the Waypoint Manager can be used directly inside the SkyTrackPro Task Manager. There is no need to re upload or convert files. Waypoints are instantly available when creating or editing tasks.
This tight integration ensures a smooth workflow from waypoint preparation to task creation and final competition setup.
The SkyTrackPro Waypoint Manager brings clarity, precision, and flexibility to competition planning and waypoint management all in one integrated platform.
